Has several nice walking trails. Just be wary about walking those trails in the summer time as bicyclists from outside of Sullivan County enjoy coming here.
Walnut Mountain is a nice little park with very good mountain bike trails. It can be crowded and full of trash from the summer visitors in July and August despite the efforts of the Liberty parks department and numerous trash cans. I'd recommend using the West Lake Street entrance during that time of year instead of the one on Walnut Mountain Road to avoid them for the most part. It's also very nice for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter and there's a disc golf course.
